BatCo — Established in Austin TX
We moved from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Austin, Texas in 2010. Founded in 2013, Bat Country Pet Sitting quickly rose to the top of the list of superior pet sitters who also provide medical support and live-in care. Our consistent 5-Star reviews and glowing testimonials from our Austin clients attest to our commitment to providing you and your pets with the highest standard of care and personalized attention to detail.
Why “Bat Country”?
Austin is the perfect city for anyone who loves bats. The Congress Avenue bridge is a famous landmark and is home to the largest urban Mexican free-tailed bat colony in North America!
As for me, I’m a writer with a BA in English & Creative Writing, with a thing for Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I wanted to integrate “Bat Country” into our business name and aesthetic. Between my literary leanings, and Austin being a bat-crazy city, Bat Country Pet Sitting was born!
Whatever your critters, we’re your sitters!
Now that we’re coming back to the Twin Cities in March 2017 (we missed our family and friends), we considered a name and branding change, but have decided to continue as Bat Country Pet Sitting. Minnesota is home to some seriously adorable bats, so why rock the boat? We are, and will always be, the inimitable BatCo and are looking forward to caring for YOUR beloved creatures!
I hope you’ve been able to find everything you need on this website, but if not, please contact me with any questions.
